A large University were looking for partnership support to ensure their newly formed HR Centre of Excellence team were equipped with the change facilitation skills required to successfully manage a complex environment.


In response to a HR transformation and a large project agenda, a large University sought help to develop the skills of their HR Centre of Excellence specialists to ensure they were ready to sustainably facilitate and support the business through ongoing,complex change.

Our Approach

Curve Group, in consultation with key stakeholders, designed and delivered a one-day professional development initiative for the HR community. The key objective of the workshop was to focus on building capability in change management facilitation, through the use of case studies and scenarios drawn from the current business context.

Activities throughout the day aimed to test the application of change planning, managing different stakeholder scenarios, and how to practically use and execute implementation skills.


The professional development initiative received positive feedback and engagement from the broad team. In particular, participants emphasised the value of being able to walk away from the day with practical skills and useful tools that were “so relevant to my job, I knew I would be able to put them to good use straight away”.
