Supporting Social Enterprises

At Curve we are very proud of supporting social enterprises and in particular our ongoing partnership with The Social Studio (TSS) here in Melbourne.

TSS provides opportunities for young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds to learn and participate in the clothing, fashion and hospitality industries. It aims to improve social outcomes for Australian refugees through employment, critical skill development, education and inclusion. Using a blended business model, TSS incorporates social support, training, and a retail business that generates revenue through trading in the free market and acts as a key pathway to support people into longer term employment in industry.

Over the past 3 years Curve Group has provided pro-bono support to TSS through a number of channels. This has included engaging in a review of the business plan and portfolio to help develop a 3 year strategy focused on enhancing the operating model to become more self-sustainable through non restricted income generating activities. Most recently Curve has been providing executive coaching support to the newly appointed CEO and General Manager.
