Big change often demands dramatic shifts in capability and working practices, and can make it hard for HR to prioritise its agenda when everything seems important! We supported this organisation to design a commercial HR strategy to provide a roadmap for change.
We worked with business leaders to define strategic value drivers for the organisation, and to then identify the people themes of work that would be critical in enabling this. Using risk management principles we then selected initiatives that would deliver highest impact outcomes at least cost to ensure thinking and doing are focussed on the most important things.
Outcomes for this client included a simple people story –a succinct description of the workforce shift needed to supportthe business strategy. Practically, this was supported with a three year roadmap of priority HR initiatives required to enable change, and a detailed implementation plan.
